I wanted to start the decade right off by highlighting my favorite recruiting tools that I’m using throughout my week. This year my goal has been to focus more on “personalization” by telling a compelling story to attract candidates. There’s a lot of tools that I use to help improve my communication skills when reaching out to leads. A lot of recruiters have connected with me recently on this topic – what are my top sourcing tool suggestions? Well, I’ve decided to put together a list of my top recruiting tool suggestions below.
1. Pipl Pro
Tired of wasting time searching for candidates’ contact information? PIPL is my favorite tool for locating email addresses, social profiles, phone numbers, and much more online. It’s one of the best people search engines available on the market. You can run a search using whatever information you currently have (be it a name and address, a username, an email address, a number, or something other) and then the tool will help you rapidly verify the person’s details while helping you simultaneously discover any work, social, and contact information available on the web.
2. ZapInfo
ZAPinfo is super helpful for scraping a wealth of information on potential candidates. I particularly like to use this tool when searching on Facebook and LinkedIn. This is a browser extension that can help you extract and enrich data while also automating certain aspects of the recruitment process with tools like automated form filling. There is a free version available and a free trial for the premium version as well (with the premium version costing $39/month).
3. Hiretual
I still consider Hiretual one of the best sources for gathering emails for Linkedin users. The tool sources information with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI), checking over 700 million professional profiles across over 30 platforms to gather contact details. Plus, additional built-in tools, including pipeline tracking, promise to help you engage the right candidates 10 times faster. If you’re working as part of a team, the collaborative CRM interface could be a big help, too.
4. DeepSense
Personalized messaging is a big part of high engagement rates, which is why I consider DeepSense a fantastic recruitment tool. I use it to understand the personality of every user I am reaching out to in order to craft better, more personalized messages. DeepSense itself utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) alongside emotional intelligence, making it highly effective as an outreach customization tool.
5. Bombomb
Video is considered the single most engaging and immersive form of content on the web, so I definitely agree that recruiters should be finding more ways to use it. People are simply spending less and less time reading text or even scanning images. Meanwhile, since email marketing remains one of the most effective forms of outreach, combining these two elements into video emails is a smart move. I use BombBomb to target leads with video emails and it also offers screen recording, social sharing, and analytical tracking tools.
6. Textio
Textio is used by countless corporations, from McDonald’s to Expedia, to help marketers analyze their “written voice” and better express their company culture through writing. Its targeted at people who want to write the best textual ads possible, but I personally use it to write the best emails possible, making for highly effective email outreach campaigns. Textio has analyzed over half a billion documents and, through machine learning, continues to get smarter with everything users type. This massive data analysis allows it to measure the impact of everything you write and make suggestions to help you write things better.
7. Beamery
Beamery brings together a number of tools into one connected interface, allowing you to use it as your core talent CRM while also utilizing it to manage the marketing aspects of your recruiting. I personally love it because it helps me send automated and scheduled emails to leads. It also sends follow up messages which helps improve my engagement overall. You can trigger real-time campaigns based on a lead’s activity on your site while also utilizing information they’ve submitted and other details, enabling you to reach a lead’s inbox at the best time.
6. Hired
Is a large database of active tech talent across North America. It’s similar to LinkedIn recruiter but these leads are more open to responding and communicating with recruiters. I was access several weeks back and I’m happy to say that it’s become one of my favorite sourcing tools to use on a daily basis. I’m constantly checking this database for new candidates.
7. Zapier
I’m addicted to using recruitment automation tools! I love creating different apps within this tool. It’s been such a great way to cut back on mundane tasks by automating them. I’ve written several pieces on this tool and others.. Overall, I can’t praise this enough.
