Many Recruiters will be experiencing a slow down and uncertainty due to the Coronavirus. I wanted to put together a list of recruiting tools that are free to use. Recruiters will be expected to trim their budgets within the next several months. Recruiters won’t have the extra money to spend on the latest tool. They will need free alternatives that can help with mundane sourcing and automation tasks.
Below is a list of FREE Recruiting Tools and Extensions to Review:
1. Recruiter Wand
This extension will allow the user to create auto-filled emails for contacts on LinkedIn or other social media platforms. The extension will capture the names, company, and skills on the page and auto fill them into templates. The user can choose from a list of pre-saved templates. You can add additional templates within the tool as well. The user can then copy the auto-generated text and paste it in emails and other messaging platforms. View my launch page (here) for more details.
2. Momentum
New Tab page that gives you a moment of calm and inspires you to be more productive. Get inspired with a daily photo and quote, set a daily focus, and track your to-dos. Eliminate distractions and beat procrastination with a reminder of your focus for the day on every new tab.
3. OneTab
Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
4. Extensity
This is the ultimate tool for lightning fast enabling and disabling all your extensions for Google Chrome. Just enable the extension when you want to use it, and disable when you want to get rid of it for a little while.
5. WhenX for Google Search
WhenX helps you to find previously visited links in your Google search results by adding a tag with your last visit time next to the link. This will save you time when you are xraying and creating Boolean strings within a Google search.
6. Connectifier Social Links
This extension cross references a user’s social media profiles and includes them all in one place. It’s a free simple situation to cross reference a user’s profiles online.
7. Page Monitor
Use this extension to monitor web pages online. Anytime there is a change or update you will get notified. This is a simple and easy way to track your competition or to monitor candidates online.
8. Zoom Scheduler
This is a free extension to help schedule Zoom meetings via Gmail. With every Recruiter working remotely this is a great way to schedule your phone screens or interviews automatically.
