There are plenty of browser extensions that can help you as a recruiter, but perhaps none more valuable than a good time tracker. After all, an accurate time tracker is a must for having accurate time sheet data, and they can even help analyze how time is being spent. Here’s a look at the best time tracker extensions that you can get in the chrome store.

Sourcing takes an immense about of time and effort throughout the day. In order to hit your recruiting metrics you will need to track and manage your time efficiently. Thankfully, there’s many time tracking tools available.

1. actiTIME

actiTIME Timer is a great extension that works in Chrome to simply the entire process of tracking your time. It’s a robust tool and includes many features to help manage work and time spent on it. You can use it to track the number of hours you spend using different web apps and browsers and even count time spent working and then sync the report up with your actiTIME account.

That means, if someone was collaborating with Trello, they just need to start the timer when they open the app and then stop it when they’re finished. The time record can be adjusted as necessary after the fact, but so long as you remember to start and stop the timer, you’ll no longer have to rely on memory or constantly open a timesheet for immediate tracking.

2. TrackingTime

TrackingTime is another extension that helps you to collect accurate information on how long it takes to get work done. The data collected will be synced to the TrackingTime account for whoever is logged in, allowing them to calculate the time they spent working and the total billable amount for that time. Plus, this extension makes reporting easy, even helping to understand how time is allocated amongst team members.

TrackingTime also has features to help you analyze the most time-intensive tasks, which can help with productivity and cutting back on wasted time.

3. Simple Time Tracker

Analyze your productivity with the Simple Time Tracker! This extension is super easy to use and is great for office use, freelancers, students, and pretty much anyone else who needs to monitor and improve their performance, which means it works great for a recruiter’s busy lifestyle. This extension will track how much time is being spent on specific tasks and then generate a quick summary.

While it has only basic functionality, just as the name implies, this extension is easy to use and very effective at what it intends to do. If you don’t need frills, consider this option.

4. Elorus

The Elorus extension is part of a bigger online invoicing tool. Elorus tracks how much time you work and then calculates the total billable amount based on that data. It also keeps track of the history of how you spend your time and you can use it for a whole team to monitor their performance and productivity over a certain period. It’s excellent if you need billing features alongside time-tracking capabilities.

5. Clockify

Last but not least on this list, Clockify is a timer extension that works as part of a larger time-tracking platform. It can help you improve your work performance by tracking your idle time and setting reminders for you. You can even use the built-in Pomodoro timer to help your productivity and focus, plus the work hour tracking means calculating invoices is easy. The automatic start/stop feature also helps increase accuracy.
