MailTracker by Hunter: A Simple Email Tracking for Gmail

The team at Hunter has recently created an email tracking tool. I was fortunate enough to demo this tool and I’m excited to share its benefits with my readers. There are many tools that allow the tracking of email opens, both free and paid. One of the most popular ones is MailTracker by Hunter. It’s a simple and free email tracking extension that allows you to know when recipients open your emails.

The tool provides you with information on when, how often, and from which devices your emails were open. That allows you to schedule your follow-ups and plan the next steps in your outreach campaign in an intelligent and data-driven way.

How does it work?

MailTracker works by adding an invisible image of one pixel inside the emails to track single emails sent in Gmail to a unique recipient. This image is loaded when the recipient opens the emails, allowing the sender to know the opening status. MailTracker also does not add a watermark or signature in the email, so the recipients won’t know the email is tracked.

To start tracking all of the emails sent from your Gmail account, add MailTracker to Chrome by clicking the “Add to Chrome” button:

Then sign in with Google to identify your Gmail account:

Once the MailTracker is installed, you can create and send your first email. You’ll be able to see information about your email opens in real-time from two different places:

In the list of threads with checkmark icons, you can see which emails have been read or not.

In the conversation with the complete history of the email openings and the details.

You can always disable or activate tracking from the composition window in your Gmail.

It’s worth mentioning that MailTracker doesn’t read or store your emails. To function, MailTracker only needs to store identification numbers for the tracked emails. Unlike many other tools, MailTracker doesn’t require permission to read and manage your emails in Gmail.

Pricing:

MailTracker is free for everyone. The tool is now used by 90,000+ users, including such companies as Amazon, Google, IBM, and Adobe.
